On election day

My 80+ year old grandmother missed this year's general election because there's too much inconvenience for her to fulfill her duties.

The next day when the results were all over the news...

AhMa: I didn't vote la, can or not one? (looking worried)
Dad: Can la... Malaysian government won't send u back to China for not voting...

You see, there's a reason behind why she's so afraid of not voting.

About two decades ago, the Chinese old folks were "threatened" that if you don't vote for the government, you'll be sent back to China. And their tactics for the other uneducated people will be, "Let me teach you how to fill up the ballot paper... Nah, you don't want to choose 'Chin Kia' (the scale) right, put a BIG CROSS beside their logo, don't let them win!"

Smart... but so unethical... thanks to the internet and bloggers, Malaysians are now more aware of you know what...

Nothing is impossible... 5 states, 2/3 majority... what's next?
